It was one of those hot, dry desert days where the sky is so blue it looks painted. We had been driving for about four hours, heading north from Tucson toward a place I had always wanted to visit—Four Corners, where Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado meet.
There’s something whimsical about standing in four states at once, but what really struck me wasn’t the novelty—it was the land itself. Towering red mesas, ancient stone, and wide-open silence filled the air with a kind of sacred stillness. You could feel the history under your feet, the presence of those who lived here long before us. It’s a place steeped in stories, carried on the wind and carved into the canyon walls.
On the ride home, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I pulled out my sketchbook and began to draw, not what I saw—but what I felt. Bold lines, simple forms, the shapes of mesas and symbols of spirit. The land spoke to me in a language of pattern and rhythm, and my hand tried to keep up.
Those sketches have become the foundation for a new jewelry collection I’m calling Four Corners. It’s a tribute to the raw beauty and deep spirit of the Southwest, forged in silver and stone, echoing the harmony of earth and sky.
This collection is more than adornment—it’s a story. A journey. A connection to place and time.
Stay tuned—I can’t wait to share these pieces with you.
